Thus, boots should fit properly in order to provide a good support for your ankles during arduous walks, hikes, and climbs. The same applies to socks. Use socks made of synthetic anti-moisture materials. These are even better than cotton. Clothes on the other hand will either be provided by the tour company or you will be given with instructions on what to purchase and where to buy them. Common travel clothing are normally made of waterproof, sun proof, and breathable materials.

In today’s modernized society, interacting with nature and such is rather unheard of. Mainly because the rat races most of us are in deny us the time we want to go for a holiday or a break alone. And if we get that break, we’ll either want to just rest at home, or go to another country and enjoy the urban jungle there. For the short term one, be sure to bring plenty of water, and perhaps some rations as well. You could also go for a picnic, so the possibilities are rather limitless.

Lastly, with regards to choosing a good location, it can be quite different depending on where you live. If you’re in Singapore, the botanical gardens or the horticulture park would be a good short term trip, but if you’re looking for something with overnight and more adventure, Pulau Ubin might just be the thing for you. If you’re not in Singapore however, do not fret. Do check with your local agencies on good spots to hike and to camp, and you’ll be sure to find a place you like.
